The Gulf Coast Business Council is the strong and united voice of business on public policy issues of importance to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Region. Through leadership and collaboration on targeted strategic issues, the Gulf Coast Business Council promotes and advances the economic vitality and quality of life of Mississippi’s Coastal Region.
The Gulf Coast Business Council (GCBC) is an umbrella organization made up of the top business leaders in Mississippi’s three coastal counties along with other member organizations and nonprofits, such as the Hancock, Harrison and Jackson County Chambers of Commerce and Partners for Stennis Space Center. The city and county Councils of Government in Coastal Mississippi are adjunct member organizations, along with other important public agencies, such as the Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority, the three county economic development organizations, the State Port Authority at Gulfport, the Jackson County Port Authority, the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission, NASA, and Mississippi Gulf Coast Military instillations.
The Gulf Coast Business Council is recognized as the voice of business for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Region.
